Joe Picano specializes in advising privately held businesses that are in financial distress through a turnaround period in order to improve the overall financial position of the company. He has worked with over 60 companies and established a record of creating significant positive changes in troubled businesses. Client cases usually require a full analysis of the current situation, evaluation of alternatives, and the development of a new business plan. Mr. Picano then works closely with the company’s lenders and other vendors to execute the plan over a period of time.

Mr. Picano has previously worked in the reorganization services unit of Coopers & Lybrand, and as a manufacturing engineer at Textron Defense Systems. Mr. Picano received a Bachelor of Science degree from Union College and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
